Jo is Head of Compliance and Quality at Hugh James.

She is responsible for managing compliance, quality and risk within the firm, ensuring the firm’s continuing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including the SRA Handbook, GDPR and Money Laundering legislation.

Jo and her team maintain the firm’s Quality Management System and associated functions to ISO9001 and Lexcel standards, ensuring adequate policies, procedures and processes are in place to ensure continued compliance to required standards and continual improvement all done with a focus on client care and client satisfaction.

Jo joined the firm in 2004 and has worked in Quality Assurance since leaving University with a Bsc in Business Administration.
