We, at Hugh James, have a long standing relationship with Headway, particularly within our Neurolaw team, and we like to support them whenever we are able.
Once a year at the end of Action for Brain Injury (ABI) Week, Headway’s supporters come together to try and raise awareness of brain injury and to help Headway improve life after brain injury, by donning their wackiest hats.
Supporters who take part are encouraged to donate £2 to Headway and to post a photograph of them in their hat on social media using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway to show their support.
The Neurolaw team at Hugh James will be taking part again this year.
Our photograph this year features us wearing hats from all 4 of the UK nations reflecting that we are all in this together. We felt that this was important, as it is only when everyone comes together that we can make change, raise awareness and raise funds for those affected by brain injury. This theme also felt particularly poignant after the last year, when we have seen so many people pull together in support of one another during the pandemic.
