What is alternative dispute resolution?
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is used to describe a wide variety of non-court-based processes for resolving disputes by agreement. The most common form of ADR is mediation but we also have a great deal of experience in resolving disputes through expert determination and adjudication. Parties are encouraged by the court to try and mediate their dispute in order to save costs and disruption that a full trial can often cause.
